Whatever the season, there's always something going on in the Genevois area !
Two major music festivals are held every summer in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.
The Guitares en Scène Festival which, thanks to its unique elitist programming and the support of the Montreux Jazz Festival, is one of Europe's leading guitar festivals.
The second major event is the Festival 1 Brin d'Zik, an eco-citizen festival that is one of the highlights of cultural life in the Genevois area and Haute-Savoie because of its festive musical and mixed ethnic identity.

Nature lovers and professionals have turned out mountains into a major venue for sports events. Don't miss National Snowshoe Day in January and Mont Salève on Foot in September.

In June, the famous Grand Mediaeval Festival in Andilly provides an opportunity to take a magnificent trip back in time. Definitely not to be missed !

In springtime, farms that are members of the "Bienvenue à la Ferme" network open their doors and, in autumn, the Syndicat du Salève and du Vuache organise meetings in and around local orchards.
