Day 1

In late afternoon, settle into your campsite. After a welcome from the owners, you can do a spot of exploring. Evening in a restaurant of your choice or barbecue at the campsite.

Day 2

In the morning, head off to the white water river for some thrills and excitement. There's something for everybody - rafting, canoe rafting, airboating, hydrospeed, kayaking etc. A wide range of activities with instruction from professionals in a really friendly atmosphere. Take advantage of your trip back to the campsite to stop and meet the local farmers along the way. Fill up with local produce to be tasted on site, take on your next picnic or take back home with you. Some of the farms have learning activities. Contact them to tour their buildings and equipment and find out more about the job.

Spend the evening on the crest of the Salève range. Enjoy a Simple high-altitude dinner or a night time walk, with leader. Your evening will be dazzling, with the glittering lights of the Genevois Basin at your feet and an infinity of stars over your head !

Day 3

Drive to Mont Vuache and drink in the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside! In the heart of an unspoilt natural environment, you can choose your footpath. Various signposted routes are on offer - educational, Franco-Swiss, up hill and down dales etc. Just choose the route you prefer. Don't forget your camera - there are superb views of the Alps, Jura and Genevois area along the way.
With tourist information in hand, you will get back to your campsite via hamlets and villages where the past can still be seen in the neo-Romanesque churches, a 13th-century bell tower, the remains of a castle, chapels, wash-houses etc.

An event such as Mont Salève on Foot, next September, or the Festival of Orchards in Vuache next November may be what attracted you to the area in the first place!
